Service Price Changes - June, 2026 (the last one was in '23)

What's happening?

Price increases signalled a few months ago have now come through. Per the title, our last changes were in 2023. We have no choice but to increase some service prices.

That's the short version. New charges will appear over the next month. 

Increase detail

New pricing is in place already, and Earthlight is already being billed at these new rates having only received confirmed detail days earlier.

Copper service prices have increased, in part reflecting cost of maintenance. The aging copper network is in the process of being withdrawn. We have a range of options available and are helping clients to move accordingly.

As before, the fibre changes are uneven. They continue to reflect Regulated and Non-Regulated options.

Some good news

Some 'reading the tea leaves' means we have been able to identifty plans for some which are better value for money. it's complicated due to rules for supply, but we are happy to work through options for people.

Fibre Boost programmes have helped as well. they have increased the end connection speed on a number of plans. We worked through a number of connectons to take advantage of this, providing best value where possible.

What hasn't changed?

Our goal remains to provide the best value internet connections and service. This is achieved by having a solid network core (connecting you to Earthlight and on out online). Continued upgrades in the network core mean the network remains fast at all times.

As a client, from the start you have seen we are involved, available and hands-on. We keep watch over the network and connections. We carry onsite spares of most/all equipment deployed. You can talk to us, and we know what is happening.

Price increases are never welcome. It does appear a number of providers are reviewing annually. As always, if you need anything further please get in touch.
